    Affinaquest Lands Funding For Nonprofit Management
    Dallas-based Affinaquest said Friday that it has scored a round of growth capital, for its nonprofit donor management system. The company said the funding came from Social Sector Ventures. Affinaquest, which was founded by Jeff Shy, said the new funding will go to expand product functionality and support services. Affinaquest's tools are built on top of Salesforce.com, and help nonprofits manage their donors and CRM efforts.

    Dell Backs Mirantis
    Round Rock-based Dell, via its Dell Ventures arm, has backed the provider of OpenStack integration and tools, Mirantis. Mirantis, which is based in Silicon Valley, said it received $10M in funding from Intel Capital, WestSummit Capital, and Dell Ventures yesterday.     Bazaarvoice Hit With DOJ Lawsuit Over PowerReviews Buy
    Austin-based Bazaarvoice is the target of a lawsuit from the Department of Justice, over the company's acquisition of PowerReviews in June of last year, according to legal filings Thursday. The U.S. Department of Justice claims that the acquisition of PowerReviews--which also provided online, ratings and reviews for e-commerce retailers--reduced competition in the sector.
