![]() Wednesday, December 12, 2012 Drilling Info Acquires Assets From Wellstorm Development Austin-based Drilling Info, the venture backed provider of software-as-a-service for the oil and gas business, said today that it has acquired the assets of Wellstorm Development, Inc., an information management and development company in Dripping Springs. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Drilling Info said that the technology acquired in the buy will help it bridge its solutions with the data behind it's clients' firewalls. The firm--which did not include any financial details--said it was its "most successful year ever". Caringo develops object based storage software used in enterprises to manage their data storage. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Net Star Telecommunications provides network and data center services. Digby said the Co-op's mobile app--which it developed--was one of the 10 best mobile retailers ranked as part of Internet Retailer's recently issued list. Digby helped develop the first app for the University Co-op back in August of 2011.
