    Texas Venture Labs Deadline Approaches
    Startups looking to tap into the accelerator at UT Austin, the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs, have until December 15th to apply to the program, the accelerator said Monday. The accelerator, which works with startups to help them get funded, said that so far, companies that it has worked with have raised over $45M in funding, with $6.6M of that funding coming since May.     Rackspace Debuts New Cloud Services
    San Antonio-based hosting provider Rackspace announced this morning that it has enhanced its service offerings for cloud platform customers using OpenStack.     Computer Sciences Sells Credit Services Business For $1B
    CSC Credit Services, The credit services arm of information technology provider Computer Sciences Corporation, which is headquartered in Houston, has been acquired by Equifax in a $1.0 billion deal.     Solera Holdings Buys Mensaelect
    Westlake, Texas-based software developer Solera Holdings has acquired a Spanish developer of software used for automobile insurance claims. Solera Holdings said it acquired Mensaelect S.A., a provider of web-based products for streamlining invoicing process between Spanish body shops and insurers.     Compass Datacenters Signs Customer In Tennessee
    Dallas-based datacenter operator Compass Datacenters said today that it has signed its first customer lease at a data center facility in Franklin, Tennessee. Compass Datacenters said that it has added a lease agreement with Windstream Hosted Solutions, where it will construct a 22,000 square foot standalone data center facility for Windstream.
