    Absolute Software Buys LiveTime
    Absolute Software, which develops laptop tracking and IT management software, said this week that it has acquired LiveTime Software, a developer IT service management software. Absolute said it will pay $15M in cash and stock for LiveTime. LiveTime's software it used for managing IT and service desk requests and operations. Absolute Software has its U.S. headquarters in Austin.

    Cloud Imperium Raises $6.23M For Space Simulation Game

    Offers.com Launches Black Friday Site
    Austin-based Offers.com said today that it is helping holiday shoppers with a Black Friday site, which it says has thousands of deals from popular stores and brands. The site--which offers up coupon codes and sales--said it wants to help holiday shoppers find the best deals during Thanksgiving and Black Friday with its service and special Black Friday site.     ShopSavvy Debuts New iPad Features
    Dallas-based ShopSavvy has rolled out a new, iPad optimized version of its barcode scanning and comparison shopping software, the company said this morning. ShopSavvy said its newest iOS app, ShopSavvy 6, now includes a number of features specifically aimed at iPad users.     CoreXchange Promotes Execs
    Dallas-based colocation provider CoreXchange said today that it has made a number of promotions, to help support the company's growth. The firm said it has named Julia Morgan as President, Trey Berndt as VP of Sales, and Thanh Tran as VP of Operations. All three were already at CoreXchange. CoreXchange offers up enterprise colocation and networking services at the Dallas Infomart.
