GameStop To Shut 200 Stores
GameStop, the Grapevine-based videogame retailer, told analysts it plans to close 200 of its store sby the end of the year. The news came during the company's third quarter earnings call. GameStop posted a loss of $624M for the third quarter, due to a decline in sales and goodwill writedowns.

Dell Buys Gale Technologies
Round Rock-based Dell said this morning that it has acquired Gale Technologies, a developer of infrastructure automation software. Financial details of the buy were not announced by the company. Gale Technologies was based in Santa Clara, California. Dell said that it will use the buy to expand its Active System Manager product.

Seventeen Texas Companies Make Deloitte Fast 500

Earlier this week, Deloitte released its latest list of the top 500 growing technology companies, in its 2012 Technology Fast 500
list. Seventeen Texas companies made the list--which was ranked by the five year growth rate of the companies--with the top position in
