    CoreTrace Acquired By Lumension
    Austin-based security software developer CoreTrace has been acquired in an asset deal, according to buyer Lumension. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. CoreTrace provides security software used to secure systems at the application level, by allowing administrators to "whitelist" apps.     Eltek Sues Chinese Firm
    Eltek, a manufacturer of DC power supplies for the telecom and industrial market, and which also develops inverters for the photovoltaic market, said today that it has filed suit in China against a firm, for infringement on its intellectual property. The firm said it has retunred to court against East UPS, which it says directly copied and scanned its documentation and specifications for its own products.     Asure Software Names CFO
    Austin-based Asure Software announced today that it has named Jennifer Crow as its Chief Financial Officer. Crow was previously Director of Finance at Active Power, and also served as an independent consultant, as well as serving at Broadwing Communications, Bellsouth, Southwestern Bell, and one of the major public accounting firms.     TECH Fort Worth Names Assistant Director
    TECH Fort Worth, the nonprofit technology incubator, said today thta it has named Jorge Varela as Assistant Director at the group. The incubator, which has two offices in Fort Worth, said that Varela was previously at Global Now and Artes de la Rosa, and also owned Varela Construction and JMA Communications, among other experience. TECH Fort Worth focuses on commercialization of technology.
