    ProspX Lands Insurer Beazley
    Austin-based ProspX, the developer of software-as-a-service for the commercial insurance industry, said today that it has added specialty insurer Beazley plc as a client. ProspX did not detail the size of the win, but said that Beazley will use its platform to help brokers connect with the insurance provider.     ShopSavvy Launches Peer-to-Peer Marketplace
    Dallas-based ShopSavvy, the developer of the popular barcode and price comparisons applications for iPhone and Android, said today that it has launched a new product which allows users to sell products directly from their smartphones. The firm said its new "SavvyListings" program will connect sellers into ShopSavvy's network of mobile buyers, allowing them to find a home for unwanted products.     Active Power Wins Utility
    Austin-based Active Power, which develops uninterruptible power supplies and backup power systems, reported today that it has been selected by a utility company to provide backup power equipment at that utility's North American datacenter facility. Name of the customer, and financial size of the win, was not disclosed. Active Power said the utility is installing four of its CleanSource 1000 kVA UPS systems.     Google Offers Debuts In San Antonio
    Google Offers, the daily deals service run by Internet giant Google, has debuted in San Antonio today, part of the addition of five new cities to the service. Google's addition of San Antonio follows earlier additions of Houston and Austin to the daily deals site. Google added San Antonio, along with Charlotte, Kansas City, Milwaukee, and Tampa. The service now is available in 38 cities.
