![]() Monday, March 8, 2010 WhiteGlove Gets $7.7M Austin-based WhiteGlove House Call Health, a firm which operates a service which delivers health care to a person's home or work, said Monday that it has raised $7.7M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Hidden Lion Partners. WhiteGlove said the funding will go towards expansion beyond Texas. Gowalla previously only provided iPhone and web versions of its service. The new app is free, and available in the Android Market. Gowalla also said it has signed a new agreement with the Travel Channel, where it will integrate content from the network's Food Wars series, with its service. NI said that it has awarded 59 grant recipients with its technology, including its NI LabVIEW software, as part of its program to help very early stage medical devices startups. The Planet had announced in January that it would be giving away free servers to individuals and entrepreneurs, to attempt spur new job creation. ACS did not announced the size of the contract, which is for five and a half years.
