![]() Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Austin Ventures Backs MySpace Founders MySpace founders Chris DeWolfe, Colin Digiaro, and Aber Whitcomb said Wednesday that Austin Ventures is investing, to the tune of $20M, in a new social gaming firm headed by the trio. According to the three, they are using the funding to acquire MindJolt, a social gaming firm which develops games for Facebook and other social sites. Chris Pacitti and Tom Ball of Austin Ventures are joining the firm's board along with the funding. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. HomeAway said the acquisition would strengthen its position as a source for unique lodging alternatives to hotels.
