    Match.com In Latin American Joint Venture
    Dallas-based online dating site Match.com, which is owned by IAC, said Thursday that it is in a joint venture extending it into Latin America. Match.com said it is in a joint venture with Meetic, to reach singles in Latin America. As part of the joint venture, Match.com said it will invest $3M in cash in Meetic, with a possible future $1.5M invested in Meetic four years into the relationship.     NASA Courts Twitterverse
    NASA is looking to attract attention to the upcoming launch of Endeavor to the International Space Station, saying it is specifically looking to give Twitter users the ability to Twitter with the astronauts and crew on the mission. According to NASA, Astronaut Mike Massimino, who will be the spacecraft communicator at NASA Mission Control in Houston, will relay questions to the astronauts on Endeavor, and ask the astronauts as many pre-submitted and live questions "as practical" during th (More info...)

    Wonder Bread Launches iPhone App
    Irving, Texas-based Hostess Brands, the bakery behind Wonder Bread and Twinkies, has jumped into the social media world, saying today that it has launched its own, free iPhone application, which also connects to social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.     GetThere Racks Up $9 Billion In Travel Bookings
    Southlake-based GetThere, the business travel booking business owned by Sabre, said Thursday that the company booked more than $9 billion in business travel in 2009. The firm operates a service which allows corporate travel managers, and business travelers to book hotels, airfare, and other travel arrangements.
