According to the filing, the $1.7M came as part of a $1.8M round. The firm had announced the funding last week, saying it raised a round of funding from Greenhill SAVP, but did not disclose the amount of the funding. The privately held firm--which did not disclose financials--said the growth came due to pain its customers was feeling due to regulatory demands and security breaches. The firm said the patent portfolio is related to CMOS power amplifiers. The company explained that under the terms of the transaction, it has received both issued and pending patents from Silicon Laboratories, as well as U.S. and international patents.
