 Tuesday, January 6, 2009 Eltek Valere Promotes Schoyen to Marketing Chief Eltek Valere reported Tuesday that it has promoted Morten Schoyen as chief marketing officer. The Richardson, Texas-based firm said Schoyen has been with the company since 2000 and previously served as vice president for industrial power. In his new role, Eltek Valere said, Schoyen will report to Knut Aven, the company's chief executive. Kiwi is a developer of tools used by network engineers to manage syslog messages from network devices. Financial terms of the asset purchase deal were not disclosed. Thompson, the Austin-based company said, replaces Coker, who retired before the New Year. Silicon Labs said Thompson joined the company in 2000 and served as director of marketing for its wireline products and broadcast products before being promoted to general manager of broadcast audio products in 2007.
