 Tuesday, December 30, 2008 Motion Computing Gains $6M Austin-based Motion Computing said late last week that it has raised $6M in a new funding round. The funding came from New Enterprise Associates, Institutional Venture Partners, G-51 Capital, and other investors. According to the firm, the funding will go towards expansion into the healthcare market and towards international growth. Motion Computing develops tablet PCs to the healthcare industry and other vertical markets. posted on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 (More)(Full story) ACS Buys Argentina Firm Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services said last week that it has acquired Grupo Multivoice, an Argentina firm which provides business process outsourcing. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Grupo Multivoice has approximately 6,000 employees, and had revenues of $40M for the 12 months ended November 2008. The firm will become ACS Multivoice, and offer bilingual English/Spanish business process outsourcing for customer care services.
