 Monday, June 30, 2008 Scalable Buys Attachmate's WinINSTALL Line Scalable Software Ltd., a publisher of IT asset lifecycle management applications headquartered near Houston, announced Monday that it has acquired the WinINSTALL desktop management product line from Seattle-based Attachmate. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. HP said that the waiting period under the antitrust act has expired, although it is still subject to EDS stockholder approval and clearance from European Commission and non-U.S. jurisdictions.
