HomeAway Jumps Into Real Estate Business
Austin-based online vacation rental marketplace HomeAway has expanded its offerings today, saying it has launched a new, online marketplace focused on buying and selling of vacation homes. According to HomeAway, the new site--HomeAway Real Estate will offer vacation homes for sale on the site, specifically highlighting information about a property's rental income potential and vacation-specific characteristics. The firm said it is launching with more than 200,000 vacation homes for sale on the site.
