Mirage to Secure California School District's Network

Mirage Networks, a publisher of network-access control software, revealed Monday that a California public school district has chosen Mirage's NAC application to protect its wireless network from external threats. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Mirage’s new client, the Palo Alto Unified School District, is located in Silicon Valley near Stanford University. The school district maintains a network for students and staff across 18 school sites and its district headquarters. Mirage's network-based application will monitor and control network access, isolating unauthorized endpoints and providing self-remediation capabilities. Mirage Networks is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
