Mirage Networks Gets Win In MA
Mirage Networks, an Austin, Texas-based developer of network access control (NAC) products, said today that it has signed on the Department of Housing and Community Development of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (DHCD) as a customer. Size of the deal was not disclosed. Mirage said that the department will use the firm's network access control product to monitor network devices on its network. Mirage Networks develops NAC devices used for controlling network security. Network Access Control products monitor computer networks and control the admission of new devices into a network, and are used by IT administrators to better manage and prevent security breaches in their enterprise networks.
