Michael Dell is seeking to buy majority control of Round Rock-based Dell, in a private equity buyout of the company, according to a report last night from Bloomberg. The report said Dell would contribute $500M to $1 billion to take control of Dell, as part of a private equity buyout being led by Silver Lake Management and Microsoft Corp. Michael Dell currently owns 15.7 percent of Dell.
