Match.com Hooks Up With Starbucks On Dating
Looking for a place to connect on a first date? Dallas-based Match.com, the online dating site which is part of IAC, has hooked up with ubiquitous coffee chain Starbucks on a new feature of its service. According to the two, they have added a "meet at Starbucks" feature to its service, to help find a convenient Starbucks location and invite their match over for a date. The two said that more than one in three singles already lists coffee as a favorite activity for a first date. Financial details of the link between the companies were not announced. In addition to the Meet at Starbucks feature, the two also said they are hoping to host the "largest Starbucks Date" ever on Friday, February 13th, where they will specifically offer up special coffee and treat pairings, the right mood music, and photo props for social media documentation for dates.
