Match.com Hooks Up With MLB.com To Set Up Singles
In an unusual partnership, Dallas-based Match.com, the online dating website owned by IAC, said this morning that it has hooked up with baseball site MLB.com, to help connect single baseball fans. According to Match.com, the deal allows users on its dating site to add their favorite, MLB team logo to their Match profile--and search specifically for other singles who are fans of the same team. Financial details of the link were not announced. Match.com said that single baseball fans can now go to match.com/mlb to find each other. The deal also includes a component where MLB.com will co-promote those branded pages.
