Plano, Texas-based MangoMOBILE, a provider of mobile marketing services, reported this morning that it has opened an office in New York City. Concurrently, the company has hired Jamie Wells, a strategic media and marketing veteran, as its vice president of strategy and client services. Wells will oversee operations at MangoMOBILE’s New York office, the company added. Prior to joining MangoMOBILE, Wells supervised business development for MoPhap, a New York-based mobile advertising startup. Before that, he served as managing director at TCS, a Connecticut-based promotional marketing firm.
