ManageEngine Ties Together Desktop, Help Desk Apps
Austin-based ManageEngine, the IT management unit of Zoho, said today that it has tied together its desktop management and help desk applications. The firm said it integrated its Desktop Central and ServiceDesk Plus software products. Desktop Central is a desktop management product, and ServiceDesk is used for ITIL help desk tracking. The company said the integration is a step towards a "single pane of glass" for help desk personnel tracking both user desktop requests and incident management.
