Loop and Tie Gets $100,000 From Steve Case

Austin-based Loop and Tie, a startup whic helps companies send unique gifts to customers, has raised $100,000 in a funding round from Steve Case, the co-founder of AOL. Case announced the investment along with three other investments in female founded companies on Thursday. Loop and Tie allows people to select a gift from different tiers, from $25 to $250, as an alternative to a generic gift basket. Loop and Tie is one of several companies out of The Capital Factory, and is led by Sara Rodell (CEO and co-founder), Scott Murtaugh (Chief Product Officer) and Dimitri Roche (Chief Technology Officer).
