LifeSize Connects Into Skype
Austin-based LifeSize, the developer of high definition video conferencing systems now owned by Logitech, said today that it has connected its Passport HD video conferencing products into voice-over-IP calling service Skype. LifeSize said that it now allows its business video conferencing product to tie in with video calls from the Skype network. LifeSize said that customers who are a Skype user can automatically use their LifeSize Passport to make video calling calls to any Skype user. LifeSize's Passport costs under $2,500 and is aimed at use in small meeting rooms, individual offices, and remote workers for small and medium sized businesses.
