Austin-based media services firm LibreDigital Inc. revealed Monday that Plastic Logic has adopted LibreDigital's e-publishing platform. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to LibreDigital, Plastic Logic will use the technology to serve published content to its new eReader app, which allows major newspaper and magazine publishers to replicate their traditional print editions in digital form. LibreDigital develops tools which are used to translate printed books, newspapers, magazines, and other products into digital formats.
