Houston-based Intertek, a provider of quality and safety services, said Friday it has acquired Plastics Technology Laboratories of Pittfield, MA. Financial terms were not disclosed. PTLI provides polymer testing, providing services to major producers and end-users of plastics, elastomers, composites, packaging and films in the aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and many other markets.
