Plano-based Interphase, a developer of embedded networking cards and related products, said Wednesday that it has partnered with information security firm SafeNet, on a IPsec network security product. The two companies said that SafeNet's QuickSec 5.0 toolkit--which is used to support IPsec network security--has bee integrated into two of Interphase's packet processors. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The link is expected to make it easier for network hardware manufacturers to implement IPsec using Interphase's cards.
