Intel Selects Legerity Voice IC Solutions for Converged Application Platforms
Legerity Inc. announced Tuesday that two of its VoiceEdge integrated circuit boards will be integrated into the Intel Converged Application Platform reference design. The two boards are the VE880 FXS, which is a 24-channel FXS for multi-family and small-to-medium business use, and the VE580 FXO, which features an eight-channel FXO and a two-channel FXS. Intel's CAP standard provides a common scalable architecture that supports telephony, video and data services in a single, 1U rack-mountable platform. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Legerity specializes in the design of voice-integrated circuits for high-voltage analog and mixed-signal semiconductors.
