Austin-based Insurance Zebra, a yet-to-launch startup providing car insurance shopping, has raised $1.5M in a seed funding round. The round came from Silverton Partners, Mark Cuban, Floodgate, and Birchmere Labs. The firm said it will be using the funding to expand their team, and launch the first version of its comparison engine. Insurance Zebra was founded and is headed by Adam Lyons.
