Indeed Hits $434M In Revenues

Austin-based job search engine site Indeed said Tuesday that it had $434M in revenues in 2014, a 71% year over year increase. The privately held company--which is owned by Japan's Recruit Co. Ltd--has not previously announced its financial results in recent years, making the announcement somewhat unusual. Indeed said it is now seeing around 180 million unique visitors per month. Indeed is led by Hisayuki Idekoba. The company did not say why it announced the revenue numbers, but the company disclosed a number of key metrics which might be of interest to potential buyers, including metrics on job postings, international reach, and workforce. Recruit Co. Ltd paid around $1 billion for Indeed in 2012.
