Dallas-based IceRocket, a developer of a social search engine for searching blogs, Twitter, and Facebook, has been acquired by social media monitoring firm The Meltwater Group. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. San Francisco-based Meltwater said that all of IceRocket's employees will join Meltwater, and that IceRocket's features will be incorporated into its Meltwater Buzz product. IceRocket was founded by Blake Rhodes.
