Hypori Gets $6.7M For BYOD Security

Austin-based Hypori, a developer of secure mobile infrastructure software aimed at the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) market, said today that it has raised $6.7M in a Series A1 funding. The funding came from Green Visor Capital, along with other un-named investors. Hypori said the funding will go to ramp up commercial sales. The new funds bring the total raised by the company to $13.8M. Hypori is led by Justin Marston, and said it developed its technology in cojunction with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
