Austin-based Hyper9, a developer of virtualization products backed by Venrock, Matrix Partners, Silverton Partners and Maples Investments, said Thursday that it has released what it says is its second generation of products. The firm said that its Virtual Environment Optimization product provides data, diagnosis, and remediation of applications running in virtualized environments. Among specific features the firm highlighted in the upgraded product is business level reporting, tracking of trends, and performance analysis of virtualized servers.
