Gravitant Gets $25M Funding

Austin-based Gravitant, a developer of cloud services management software, has raised $25M more in its Series B funding round. According to Gravitant, the new funding was led by new investor Cielo Private Equity, as well well as S3 Ventures. Gravitant said the new funds will go twoards sales and marketing. As part of the funding, Lisa Harris of Cielo Private Equity joins the company's board. Gravitant is led by Mohammed Farooq, and offers up what it calls a "cloud brokerage"--a service which helps companies find, compare, and deploy cloud-based services and apps. More information »
