Gamestop Adds Sony Downloadable Content
Grapevine-based videogame retailer GameStop announced today that it has added new, downloadable content from Sony, as part of its digital catalog of add-on content. According to the company, the downloadable content includes additional add-on content for console games, and comes via technology developed in partnership with Microsoft and Sony. GameStop said the new content can be purchased using credit, cash, and trade credits from pre-owned games. GameStop did not describe the kinds of additional downloadable content available from Sony, but said they typically cost between $10 and $15. The new content is accessible via GameStop's in-store, Internet enabled kiosks.
