GameSalad Aims At STEM Education

Austin-based game development software developer GameSalad is targeting the educational market, with a new STEM education push. According to GameSalad, it has helped deployed STEM-based iniaitives in 223 schools, serving over 6,700 students, as a part of an effort to transform how K-12 students perceive and pursue tech and science education. GameSalad's videogame development tools do not require traditional programming, and instead allow users to manipulate a drag and drop interface and a library of routines to create their games.
