Austin- and Los Angeles-based GameSalad, the maker of iPhone mobile game development software, has expanded into Android, the company announced today. GameSalad said its new -GameSalad 0.9.85 Beta now supports publishing apps to the Android market. GameSalad is venture backed by Steamboat Ventures, Greycroft Partners, DFJ Mercury, DFJ Frontier, and ff Asset Management. The firm added HTML5 support over the summer.
