Austin-based Gamecock Media Group, a video game publisher, has been acquired by Virginia-based SouthPeak Interactive Corporation, SouthPeak said today. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Gamecock Media Group was founded in 2007 and developed the titles Legendary, Mushroom Men and Velvet Assassin. Gamecock was headed by Mike Wilson.
