Freescale Ties With Arada On WiFi Design
Austin's Freescale Semiconductor announced today that it has teamed with Arada Systems, on a reference design for Wi-Fi access points. Freescale said that Arada and the firm have collaborated on a production-ready, reference design focused on 802.11n access point devices. The design uses Freescale's MPC8377E-RDB chipset. Arada is a developer of Wi-Fi software products. Reference designs are often used by semiconductor firms like Freescale to help hardware designers create and develop their own products.
