Austin-based FiveRuns, a developer of Ruby-on-Rails software, said today that the firm has launched a private beta of a new monitoring tool, FiveRuns Dash. According to FiveRuns, the new product is an extensible system which allows developers to "measure anything," including Ruby & Rails, Python, and Java applications. The firm said the software can be used to collect any business or technical data developers want. FiveRuns is backed by Austin Ventures.
