Plano-based Estech Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of phone systems for the business market, announced this morning that it has acquired the retail assets of Vintalk, from Vinculum Communications. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Estech Sytsems said the acquisition included the infrastructure, customer base of Vintalk's SIP trunking and hosted PBX business, as well as Vintalk's retail division employees. Estech said the move would propel the firm into the cloud services businesses, and allow it to offer SIP trunking and hosted PBX services to its customers.
