eRelevance Bolsters Executive Team, Ramps Hiring

Austin-based, marketing automation software developer eRelevance said on Thursday that it has named Mike Hancock as Vice President of Client Success and Sales, as part of a boost to its sales efforts. The company said Hancock has more than twenty five years in sales and sales management. eRelevance did not mention Hancock's prior experience, however, Hancock was most recently VP North America - IBM Platform Computing in Austin, and had also served at WhiteGlove Health, ViaMetric, Cesura, Salion, Mentor Graphics, and other companies. eRelevance says it is in a big hiring push, having more than doubled its staff in the first half of the year, and big hiring plans across all functions of its business for the rest of the year. The company raised $4.5M in funding earlier in the year, from Rally Ventures, Chicago Ventures, Miramar Venture Partners, and Rothernberg Ventures.
