    Enfora Taps Motorola For WiMax

Richardson, Texas-based Enfora, a developer of wireless networking products, said Wednesday that the firm is announcing a WiMax platform based on Motorola technology. According to Enfora, its new WiMax platform is targeted at the automotive, healthcare and energy industry. Enfora's products are used for fleet management, asset tracking, and other asset management applications. The firm says WiMax offer higher bandwidth and remote access needs that traditional wireless technologies have not been able to fill.
