Eltek Valere Announces New "Green" Product

Richardson, Texas-based Eltek Valere, a developer of DC power supplies for the data center market, said this morning that it has shipped what it calls a new "green" version of the firm's power conversion products. According to Eltek Valere, its new V-Series HE rectifiers are drop-in replacements for wireless and remote terminal power systems. The system provides 48-volt, 1000 watt, AC-to-DC power, for telecom equipment. Eltek Valere's products are used by telecommunications and data center operators to convert to DC power, which dramatically reduces electricity usage in those data centers. Traditional AC power systems waste a lot of energy in heat and conversion, compared with the DC power systems sold by Eltek Valere.
