Eltek To Build New HQ In Plano

Eltek, the developer of power supplies for the telecommunications, industrial, and other markets--and which also has a big business in photovoltaic inverters--said it is building a new facility in Plano, which will serve as its new Americas headquarters. The firm said it decided to consolidate its headquarters into one building, on a built-to-suit site on East Plano Parkway in the Research/Technology Crossroads development. The firm said the facility will be 124,000 square feet, and came after searching for an existing building to lease in Dallas. Eltek--which has its Americas headquarters in Richardson--has global headquarters in Norway; the firm came to Texas via its 2007 acquisition of Valere Power.
