Dallas-based document management software publisher eGistics reported this morning that it has hired long-time EDS executive Timothy J. Kick as chief financial officer. eGistics said Kick will oversee financial planning and numerous accounting functions while reporting to Bob Lund, the company's chairman and chief executive. Before joining eGistics, the Dallas-based business noted, Kick was CFO of Electronic Data Systems' Financial Services Industry group. Kick's prior positions at EDS also include CFO of that IT outsourcing firm's operations in Northern Europe and Africa.
