DrNow Launches House Call App In Houston

Houston-based DrNow, the developer of a mobile app-centric service to get at-home, housecalls from physicians, said it has launched its pilot in Houston. The company said its apps, which run on iOS and Android, connects patients with board-certified physicians, physicians assistants, or nurse practitioners, who visit those patients in their own home. DrNow said it hopes to serve all of Texas by early next year. DrNow was founded by Dr. Akash Bhagat. The company said it is aiming at young professionals, mothers of small children, as well as others looking for saving time and convenience in treating their medical needs.
