    Docmos Targets Cash Rebates To Promote Service


    Docmos, a startup offering online listings of medical imaging facilities, revealed Wednesday that it has launched a its web site, focused on connecting patients with providers of CT, MRI, PET scans, and X-rays. The site will offer cash rebates and other cash-back offers to patients who use the directory to find an imaging provider. The Austin, Texas-based company said patients are eligible for rebates even if the costs of their imaging tests are covered by insurance. Docmos noted that its free service covers the entire country and utilizes Google mapping features to help patients pinpoint the nearest and most convenient facilities.
