Digby Adds Location-based Marketing Tools
Austin-based Digby, the mobile marketing company headed by David Sikora, said this morning that it has launched a new, location-based marketing platform. The firm said the platform allows its brands to launch their own, location-based marketing applications, which combine information about a user's location with analytics about shopping opportunities and a brand's locations. The new location-basd marketing product, Localpoint, is an add-on to Digby's current set of tools. The new product allows brands to geofence and analyze the behavior of customers near to their store locations; send out location-specific offers to users; and tie apps into checking into locations or scanning a UPC or QR code.
