Dell Simplifies Service Offerings
Round Rock-based Dell said today that the firm has simplifies the firm's service offerings, reducing the number of different support offerings from 10 to two customizable packages. Dell said the new offering, Dell ProSupport, and will allow their customers to customize and tailer the support level that they would like. The offering includes one targeted towards IT professionals, called ProSupport for IT; and another for consumers, ProSupport for End-Users. Among the additions to the program, the ProSupport for IT offering includes a FastTrack dispatch offering which will allow Dell partners to send technicians to clients directly, rather than making them walk through basic Dell support calls first.
